    to cut hair

Or not to cut hair. That is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the bedheaded days and use outrageous amounts of gel or to take up scissors and, by snipping, end them. To cut, to snip; no more. And by a snip to say we end the thousand long natural waves that my auburn hair is heir to. 'Tis a constumation devoutly to be considered.

Hmm... but I've gone this far without cutting it. And it has really been a great way to save extra money. I think I need to experiment more with styling it.

Got off of work earlier than expected. I've concluded that a shower is perhaps one of the greatest activities ever. And it is, for the most part, free. Note to self: suggest showering together with Lila.

Hehe. Anyways, talking to Lila over the phone on the way back home sprouted a small conversation with Uncle Mickey. Mostly the taunting "aww" thing after I said "Love you" yet we went on to talk about how I see the relationship. I offered a few symbols and ended with John and Yoko. He instantly said that Lila "definitely looks 1 million times better than Yoko." I'd have to disagree. I say 2 million times.

So I'll be meeting up with my senorita very soon. Going to look sharp. Reminder: put that portfolio together for Jerry and ask Lila about her dream.

    sunburn?
And perhaps another pound or so. Hmm. Felt like I ate too much today. That, combined with my lack of exercise, worries me. Lila doesn't seem to mind. Quite the contrary. Our opinions of one another have a satisfyingly happy, interested vibe. This is good.

The beach was fun though I had some sort of salt-shock when I went completely into the water. Got to swim around, played some watery football, et cetera. Jose's alter-ego is now "The Money." You mustn't think Money Penny from 007, however. No no. I always think... A young, Cuban Benjamin Franklin.

I didn't go to work as planned. I called up, Brad was there, Dave wasn't, hung up, decided that it would be a waste of time showing up. Brad would just send me home. I really hate that man and thus do not trust him. I will not disclose my personal matters with him, ergo the reasons why I need more shifts/money because he is an unmannered and dispassionate fiend. I cannot expect any help from him. Dave's another matter entirely. He's humorous and friendly in a take-no-shit kind of way. Brutish, at times, but charming.

Tomorrow will be a day of heat, loathing, and then... passion? I hope. Working with Uncle Mickey again this weekend. With luck Tom might be withdrawn again, passing around his little broken world as he has been, assigning us stupid, simple tasks. Working for profit according to time spent working, not profit according to how hard you work or how well. What a life.

Children privileged with endless wealth pouring from their undoubtedly world-tied parents sicken me.

As the sun goes down, so shall my forthcoming pain (brought on by the sunburn of today no doubt) subside, and daytime worries ease away, and eventually I may be able to see Lila. I will be excited. Even to speak with her, face to face, is a bountiful experience. We are so open and free with each other.

I just want to stop all procrastination and laziness. Make songs, write stories, and share my love of life (whatever form it comes in; don't be tricked by my some times pessimistic tone herein) with Lila and everyone else.

    this place is weird
But Lila wants me here (like she wants me in a lot of places) so I'll entertain her. I'm spending the day filling out applications again and I'll turn around and have to go to work. Blah, just hope Saturday night makes up for all this drudgery.
